Census Data Family Histories My Family Trees My Wife's Trees
My Bluebird Box
The genealogy section of this website is dedicated to my parents and family members, who have helped me in so many ways with their interest in our families histories, and to all those who came before us, and to those who will come after us.
Thank you for stopping by to visit, and welcome to the Bluebird Box. When we moved to Sour Lake about fifteen years ago, there were only a few of these beautiful bluebirds here. I started building a few bluebird boxes and the local population has grown quite a bit. Follow this link to the North American Bluebird Society Homepage.
My name is Dave Zwick and this website will be concentrating on my family's collected histories, genealogies, and several other areas of interest. Another area of interest is the Saxophone, and here is the link to the International Saxophone Home Page. I live in Sour Lake, Texas, down here "Deep in the Heart of Southeast Texas", about 12 miles northwest of Beaumont, Texas. We are at the southern edge of the Big Thicket National Preserve , which offers a wonderful opportunity for birding. Beaumont's population is around 113,866 people, making it the largest city in southeast Texas. My wife and I are members of the North End Baptist Church in Beaumont, Texas.
Visit my friend Mike Poole's interesting Home Page . Mike and I worked together at the ExxonMobil Refinery in Beaumont, Texas, and he has helped me considerably with computers and the internet. And speaking of oil, Texas Tea, within three miles of the Refinery is the location of the 1901 Boom Town, Gladys City, where the Spindletop Lucas Gusher blew in on January 10, 1901. It was this discovery that revolutionized the oil industry in America, and the world.
