C. Heinrich Hambrock was born in Bavaria in about 1795. He married Catherine Mary. He and his wife, 5 daughters, and 2 sons emigrated to the U.S. They arrived in New York City on June 1, 1854 on the Jeverland. By June of 1854, they had settled in Fort Wayne, Allen Co., IN.

Their son, Johann Frederick, was born June 07, 1829 in Bavaria. He married Sophia Hillbrandt on November 25, 1859 in Fort Wayne. After Sophia's death, Johann married Catharine Maria Fuhrmann on July 06, 1863. Johann Frederick died June 07, 1899 in Fort Wayne.

Johann Frederick and Sophia's son, William J., was born January 04, 1861 in Fort Wayne. William married Catherine L. A. Koenemann on May 30, 1886 in Fort Wayne. William died January 13, 1938 in Fort Wayne.

Their daughter, Laura Sophie (pictured at left), was born October 07, 1891. She married William Frederick Stahlhut on September 18, 1913. (I have a family group photo of this wedding--probably about 40 family members in the picture. I haven't identified most of them yet.) Laura died July 16, 1973 in Fort Wayne.
