Jasper County Inter-Jurisdictional Emergency Management is the central coordinating agency for emergency and disaster related incidents in Jasper, Newton, Sabine Counties and the Cities of Jasper, Kirbyville and Browndell, Newton, Hemphill and Pineland.

Our Mission

The Office of Emergency Management is tasked with administering a program for Comprehensive Emergency Management, designed to reduce the vulnerability of the citizens and communities in Jasper, Newton and Sabine Counties to damage, injury, loss of lives and property by providing as system of MITIGATION of, PREPAREDNESS for, RESPONSE to and RECOVERY from natural or man-made disasters and emergencies.
