Final Exam review is now available.

The objective of this "Intro to Financial Accounting" (Accounting Principles I) course is to provide you with a basic understanding of accounting and the foundation for using accounting and financial information in business situations. We will concentrate on the use of accounting in the decision-making process.

Most of you will be using financial information, rather than generating it. You can expect to gain an overall understanding of what accounting information is available, where to find it, and how to interpret it. (You are not expected to be able to pass the CPA exam after this first accounting course, so please do not be intimidated by it.) Accounting is the language of business - we will be learning the basic "vocabulary" and "grammar" (concepts) in this introductory course.

I hope that you will find this site helpful as we work together this semester. Check back often for new features and announcements. Please feel free to contact me for an appointment or e-mail me with comments or questions.

Don't forget your Book, Notes, Pencil, & Calculator.
You will need them for class, and especially on exam dates!
