The out of class assignments for this course comprise your homework for each chapter (see "Assignments" page). Failure to regularly prepare assignments and to participate in class discussions of the solutions will be severely detrimental to your chances of passing this course! The homework is due before the beginning of the assigned class session. If you cannot attend class on the day the assignment is due, it is still your responsibility to submit your assignments via Homework Manager before the posted cutoff time/date. Homework will not be accepted late.

It is also crucial that you read all assigned chapters and fully understand the material. Regular attendance in class will facilitate such understanding, as we will be discussing each chapter prior to your working the assigned homework. Quiz and exam questions will come directly from lecture notes, assigned reading material, and from homework assignments.

Please note - identical papers will result in a grade of zero for all parties involved. Homework is an important part of the learning process. You cannot LEARN accounting unless you DO some accounting!

Further, identical wrong answers on quizzes or exams will result in your expulsion from my class and a grade of "F" for the course. Be very careful to keep your eyes on your own work during exams/quizzes! If you need to rest your eyes during an exam, look at the ceiling, or simply close them for a moment. Do NOT leave any room for doubt as to where you are looking, please.
